Whisky Tours,Tastings & Dinner

No visit to Scotland would be complete without sampling a ‘wee dram’ of uisge beatha or ‘the water of life’ …the name given by the ancient Celts to the fiery amber nectar we now call Scotch whisky

The ingredients of whisky are unique to Scotland itself: Fields of golden barley, an abundance of clear pure water and rich and thick earthy peat cut from the moors. A tour of one or more of the many Scottish distilleries will provide an in-depth insight into the art of whisky making.

Whisky Tour

There are literally hundreds of distilleries in Scotland.  On a VIP distillery visit you will be guided through a tour of the production, maturation and marrying process, ending with a tutored nosing and tasting.

For those with a particular interest in whisky, a tour of several distilleries can be arranged.

Whisky Tasting

We can arrange for a whisky expert to conduct a nosing and tasting session exclusively for your group.

The sense of smell is one of the most sophisticated of all the senses, and the pleasure that can be gained from “nosing and tasting” the many wonderful and varied scotch whiskies available today is an experience that should be treasured. This is particularly true if it is experienced in a convivial atmosphere with a group of friends.

This can take place at your hotel or a venue of your choice.

Whisky Tasting Dinner

We can arrange for world renowned whisky expert, Iain Stothard, to spend an evening with your group.  He will conduct a presentation pre-dinner covering all aspects of whisky in an and informative and entertaining way.

Iain will then join you for a private dinner and provide a different malt whisky for each course.  As you savour each malt, Iain will tell you about where the malt comes from and what makes it go well with the dishes you are eating .

Whisky Tasting Dinners can take place in a variety of venues and will be tailored to suit your requirements.
